Process
Act I: Investigation.
Our approach to search engine optimization begins with where you currently stand. We examine your website and look for how well on-page SEO factors have been utilized. We check your backlinks - the number you have, their anchor text, and relevancy. We check your current standings in the search engines for your keywords, and note your competition. Then, we take a look at these same elements for your competitors.
Act II: Elbow Grease.
Once we've done the above we can get to work on pushing you above the rest. Using what your competition is doing as a starting point, we begin a process of link building using your keywords in the anchor text and placing links on relevant sites/pages. We utilize practical link building techniques like article writing, contacting webmasters for links, and directory submissions. We do not believe in reciprocal linking for two reasons: 1) link pages on corporate websites make the sites appear less respectable, and 2) they are less effective.
Act III: Maintenance.
When your website has found a nice and comfortable spot in search engine results we work to maintain it. Continually building fresh and new links lets the big engines know that your business is still alive being talked about, so you don't get pushed back down. Just as important is continued work on your site's content. This lets the engines know you're active, and the site has not been forgotten.
